wow how the hell do you have Little Miss Sunshine on your list.I just saw that movie and i thought it was flat out stupid.

What was so stupid about it?

I don't know where he's coming from. I was just about to commend you for putting it on the list to begin with. It was an incredible dark comedy about not caring what anyone else thinks. Most of the other characters (Kinnear, Carrel, and Dano) are so worried about image and success (in their own ways) that they are consumed with fear and plagued with flaws all stemming from that desire to portray an image and succeed. The grandfather (Arkin) knew the stupidity of it but knew it too late, and whether intentional or not, passed what he saw in hind sight on to the little girl (Breslin) and you don't see it until the end, at about the same time the three boneheads realize it. That's what I got from the film anyway (Obviously there are so many more themes in the film that I haven't touched on that are also great but I think that was the main theme). Hell, I'd even put it above the Departed (too much music, and I couldn't buy the idea that a group of thugs would dare do such a thing to a high ranking police officer).

slither?  is that the one with the slugs that take over?  With the main character who's first name is the same as his last?

Yeah.  The main character's name is Bill Pardy, he basically had the "I'm Bill Pardy and you're not" attitude in it lol

slither sucked.  but departed was my favorite movie of the year.  I thought lil miss sunshine was really good.  those are the only ones I saw in your top 10.  Borat was hilarious.  that jet li one was dope.  Thank you for smoking was really good.  blood diamond looks really good, so does the new james bond.

i think that new ed norton movie is on some other shit. maybe it's because I'm blazed though
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

i didnt see pens or children of man, the prestige is awesome, def one of my favs of the year, i finally saw little miss sunshine and it was awesome, id probly put it in top 10, brick was cool to watch, intrestingly written and done, but i wouldnt say top 10, the fountain was alright, but i dunno about top 10, ill have to watch it again wen it comes on dvd, casino royale, i just dont understand how this movie is getting these amazing ratings, its alright, but nothing special, especially for a bond movie, i wana see dream girls and apocalyptico, comedy of the year is either sunshine or scoop (will be overlooked by everyone woody> borat), departed and babel were my two favs this year, stranger than fiction was also really great, dustin just killed it.
