DFC Things N Tha Hood ft. Nate, Warren, DOC
« on: October 30, 2001, 01:06:51 PM »
Hey y'all, back in the day i used to always bump this group from Flint Michigan called DFC, and their album Things N Tha Hood (it is from 1994).  I was wondering if anyone else has this album or has even heard it cuz it is g funked out for sure.
The title track is produced by Warren, features Nate on the hook, and has a sample of Snoop.  There are also two remixes of this track available, both produced by Warren.  Warren also does two other dope tracks, Hand on My Nine and Pass the Hooter, where he uses a vers off of Whats Next off his first cd (he used it on here first).  - "Its not Pete Rock or that nigga Dr. Dre/it that mufukkin nigga from around the way"...
Besides this, DOC aka Tracy Curry, produced a track and ghostwrites on a few others, and Mc Eiht guests on a  very dope track(he and Dj Slip produce and mix much of the album).

Anyway, i thought i would let people who ain't knowing about this cd what is up cuz it is very dope, and features some of our favourite artists...holla at me!
