CBS) CHICAGO Two Chicago women were charged Thursday with using popular Internet site Craig's List to sell sex with girls as young as 14 years old.

CBS 2'S Mike Puccinelli reports on the sting.

Craig's List is a virtual smorgasbord of products and services and, as it turns out, sex crimes.

Cook County vice officers regularly troll the site looking for prostitutes, but recently uncovered something they'd never before seen on Craig's List.

"It's particularly shocking because the three people being pimped were 14-, 15- and 16-year-old children," said Cook County Sheriff Thomas Dart.

The children were earning a lot of money for their erotic services.

"If one girl is 14, she's doing five or six clients a day at $300, and that's out of one girl. Times that by five. It was very lucrative," said Sgt. Mike Anton of the Cook County Sheriff's Police.

But police say the girls were seeing little of that money.

"We're not looking at them as criminals, we're looking at them as victims," Anton said of the underage girls.

Police say the 14-year-old was victimized by Christina Holt, who turned an apartment into a house of prostitution.

Tamara Cotton was busted for pimping out 15- and 16-year-old girls.

Detectives expect to arrest at least two more children and two more adults in the case.

"We could be doing this around the clock every day of the week. There's no lack of it," Dart said.

Also busted in the Craig's List sting was Holt's live-in boyfriend Montrell Knight.

Police say they found an arsenal of weapons and ammo in his apartment along with $10,000 worth of crack cocaine.

Knight is accused of turning his apartment into a gang safe house.

Also, Cook County Sheriff's police say when Cotton drove one of girls to what was supposed to be a sexual encounter in Elmwood Park, she actually had her 2-year-old daughter in the back seat of the car.
