Jay-z's flow was untouchable back when reasonable doubt and vol. 1 were released...he even shined well on hard knock life...and while i think his flow has fallen off a lot...i still enjoy it...his lyrics really aren't a lot different...except now he has a few more radio joints...

but no doubt about it...i still get goosebumps listening to vol. 1....and i don't get that feeling listening to kingdom come...its a good album IMO...but it doesn't showcase jays talent...understandable though...he's a lot older now

age really shouldn't matter. Look at rock. there shouldn't be anything rock can do that rap can't. they're certaily both valid artforms in every respect.

was jay z part of the group og flavor cause the music video channel didn't credit him...

damn, i didn't know he was doin' stuff that long ago. that verse is sick.can someone upload some of the 80's/90's stuff of his?

that showme what you got song is 5 times better than for example "can i get a" shit like that is garbage.

-T

He wasn't a part of original flavor.  I believe one of those dudes is his cousin or something like that though.  Oh and Can I Get A>>>>>>Show Me What You Got.

I never said he lost it, I said he sucks now.  Kingdom Come is arguably Jay's wackest album imo.  He killed a couple joints on Black Album, especially my first song.  But even that album is highly overrated.  How many of those tracks you listed were of KC? Oh and 22 Twos>>>44 Fours

"Can I Get A" is miles ahead of "Show Me What You Got" as an all round track
