Hmmm, that's an interesting question.  I'm a latter day saint, so of course I believe what they believe.  People don't get into heaven or hell, just by what religion they are, lol.  Also, people are generally blind.  I mean, how the heck are we supposed to know which religion is best?  All we can do is go by what we feel, and if we feel a religion is right, and we join it.. then, aren't we showing god that we love him, and want to follow him?  Scenario:

O.K., Latter Day Saints is god's TRUE religion. (Just take that for a given, even if you don't believe it).  You converted from christianity, to buddism.  You die.  Now, you get to heaven; god, being fair, tells you, "hey, you had a pretty good life.  You weren't a latter day saint, but I look here, and you were a buddist.  Buddists are wrong, that's not the true religion, latter day saints are.  But how are you to know?  So, you know what, i'ma let you into heaven anyways, because even though you weren't a latter day saint, you did the best with what you knew, and you did what you thought i wanted.  "

God loves his children, he ain't gonna kick somebody out of heaven over something as pitiful as being the wrong religion, lol.  If you love god, and try to do his work, you will make it to heaven.  I just read that the Quaran says that Christians will burn in hell.  That pisses me off, I hope it doesn't say that.  Our church believes there will be a ton of muslims in heaven, I hope they're not surprised to see christians there, too.

Yes.  Animals have souls just as we do.  There is no end to God's works; a mosquito has a soul.  A bacteria has a soul, and was created for a purpose.  Perhaps humans have a greater calling, and are more special to god, since we are created in his image; but just like we die, and go to heaven and hell, so do bugs, animals, birds, bacteria.  What would heaven be like without your dog?  What would heaven be like without birds singing, and rabbits for children to chase?  Animals are created by god, to serve man, the highest of all animals.

i know this is your thread an all but i dont think it will be hard for him, god will help him find his way, yo dogg, you shouldnt worry about, just put your faith in god, he'll lead you the right way and hopefully you'll find the perfect girl, it wont be hard if you have faith. but if you just wanna get laid, like trauma said, there are a lot of hoes out there, but i dont think you would want somethin so hollow like that.
