Here's a list of Islamic rappers..... Islam can mean Muslim and can mean 5 percenters... according to 5% knowledge Islam is an acronym for (I Self Lord And Master).... Another term they use is I Master Allah Self Savior Universe.  It has a different but similar meaning to orthodox Islam. (Muslims)  5 percenters believe that black man is God.  Because the Black Man (asiatic) are the origional man.  This doesn't disclude white people however, because they say white people can loose their "white mind" and still be white.  If they have knowledge.

I've been researching this topic and I compilled this list using as little conjecture as possible, but I apologize if there are any mistakes.

theres a difference though between traditional muslums and nation of islam. nation of islam is what malcom x was , but he found that it was VERY off or kinda opposite than what traditional muslum beleifs were  and converted to traditional muslum fait (which is what ice cube did from what i hear) Nation of Islam, the new and old, are almost racist in their beliefs

BigJakeDoggyDogg.....  you got it backwards homie, the Nation of Islam and Black Muslims are the same thing.  Malcolm X was first a Black Muslim (Nation of Islam) as lead by the prophet Alijah Muhammad....  Then after his trip to Mecca he converted to an orthodox Muslim.  (the prophet Muhammad, peace be unto him)

I don't know wich denomination Ice Cube is now, but after leaving NWA he joined the Nation of Islam.  If he has now converted to an orthodox Muslim I'm not aware of it.

Nation of Islam (Black Muslims) is not traditional Muslim faith.  Orthodox Islam is the oldest and most popular Muslim faith. (traditional)
