Organized crime in the US

I was watching the Sopranos the other day, and i was thinking do you still got that kind of organized crime in the US. Cuz i know in Italy its still there and the same. Just like back in the day. But is that the same in the US, where you got the families and all that stuff like in the Godfather. Cuz you dont hear anything about the Cosa Noastra anymore.

yes u do. u dont hear about them because theres no controversial mob boss no more n shit like that no big charges. past shit i saw on teh news bout the mafia is juz hit men gettin caught up killin people.

of course u got organized crime in the US not juz the italians on the east coast, on the west coast u got a varierity of organized crime groups of all ages and that r many more groups probaly countless.

what the fuck are you some sheltered cracker?

yeah for sure mafia families are still around, the larger families seem to have gone more legit though, which is the smart thing to do once you've got the money, real estate, casino's, investments, and im sure they still have some control in most labor unions.
