maybe cause Cubans, Puerto Ricans, and some other Latin peoples from the Caribean have African blood in them. Most Cubans and Puerto Ricans refer to themselves as "Niggaz" also because a lot have grown up in the same enviroment as African Americans and go through the same discriminations. That's all I've heard about the situation.

He's not claimin to be a nigga... well, in the lyrics he is, but it's not like he really wants you to believe he has a black heritage.

It's just like WCV said, he's hispanic, and alot of hispanics out here go through alot of tha same shit blacks do. That's why some blacks and hispanics connect more than they do with whites. He was probably just raised in an urban area, with hispanics and blacks everywhere and "Nigga" is just part of his everyday slang.
