even though jay-z's supposedly 5 mic review wasn't in this month's source magazine, he continues to rip the charts up with his 3rd consequtive week at no.1 after his album was released 3 weeks ago...i'm not sure when the last time a rap album has held it down at number one for the first 3 weeks of it's release...you can't knock the sales the man makes...i'm feelin the new cd although i don't think it's a 5 mics, i do think it's a 4.5 mics and well deserving of the sales it has made...he must be nearing platinum status if he hasn't reached it already...i know it sold like 425,000 in it's first week and it's been at the top for the past two so it must of sold something somewhere near those numbers which would make it close to platinum...i know his last cd which sold about 2.5 million didn't start off this well so i'm thinking that this one will probably strike 4 times platinum without a doubt...but only time will tell i guess, peace.
