Custom Made Teams With Rawkus To Release EP

The Los Angeles underground collective known as Custom Made have joined forces with world famous hip-hop label Rawkus Records for the release of their new EP, “Truth Be Told” as part of the Rawkus 50 campaign.

Last year Custom Made signed with indie powerhouse Babygrande Records and released their “Sidewalk Mindtalk” mixtape to much success.

Two months after the release of “Sidewalk Mindtalk” group member Sinister Six was sentenced to four years in prison, stemming from charges of possession and sales of crack cocaine, counterfeiting and violation of probation.

During that time Custom Made established Custom Made Radio, an internet radio show that broadcasts to listeners worldwide via numerous websites. Custom Made Radio has featured guests such as Cappadonna, Termanology, Wordsworth, OC, El Da Sensai, Nazarine and others.

“Truth Be Told represents everything that has happened in our lives during the past six months. This is quality music right here. This is what hip-hop needs right now. We kicked off ’07 with the radio show and now we’re about to hit ya’ll with the music. It’s time to bring some excitement back to hip-hop music,” explains Scoobs.

In the following weeks “Truth Be Told” will be released as a prelude to the official Custom Made LP, “Fresh Out” debuting later this year on Babygrande Records. Custom Made is also preparing for the release of their latest mixtape Heavy Traffic. This will be the fourth installment from their critically acclaimed Street Cinema series.
