Gettin A New Comp...Help...

Yo, it's bout time to get a new computer after having this one for 5 years.

I'm looking to get a Dell or some shit, but I want to know what I should get for internet?

I have AOL now, it's easy to use and shit, and if something happens I know how to fix it, BUT people say it is no good.  That it fucks up your comp with mad files.

What do you guys reccomend?  MSN?  I really don't know what else there is, so can you help me out.

I'm moving in 2 weeks so I won't have my old comp anymore, I don't know when I'll get my new one.  Either in 3 weeks or so.  Then I'll be going away for a month so I won't be online regulary.

thats cool u getttin a new comp. i just reommend a dell or a sony vaio. thsoe are some of the best comptuers they make
as for the internet, i'm not sure, i had MSN, it sucked, i mean good service but boring, i got AOL and its just more simple and u got all these chatrooms and shiit and u dont need to use the web for him, AOL probably does slow things down i dunno, i got it, and it seems to be working fine
AOL is cool, it works, some people hate it,
MSN, yeah u could, good service, nothing special tho
all the other internet services are ok
also yeah get a dell cuz their prices arent too much and u get a pentium 4

I had AOL and the truth is that its easy to use......no hassle!!! But then i got cable modem........and AOL wanted too much for cable modem service!! So i got AT&T Broadband......and the service is hella good........never had  problems!!

make sure u get a lotta ram, these days, like not under 256, wid min 1 Gigahertz processor....and uhm, try gettin a good 3d card wid it, windows xp pro and a cdburner....as for internet, go for cable

It just matters on tha components.....Appearance doesnt mean shit.....

Even private companies r tite...

^^^thats what i wanted to do......but to me it was too much cash......they wanted the regular price that it is......i think like 20 bucks......and an extra 50 bucks to have cable modem a month......70 bucks is toooo much......so i went with at&t and got it for 45 bucks a month.....and its good service! peace

So AT&T Broadband is cable, not internet right?  Cause I'm confused if I get AT&T Broadband do I still need to pick an internet provider?

^^^^ nah......homie......they they are your providers too!!! Thats why i got it.........50 bucks = cable and internet!!!! (good deal to me).......but i think u have to check if they have service in your area.....cuzz in some places they dont have the service!!!

well i dunno how much you know bout pc's but what i do is buy single components and then put them together. THat is often cheaper and its better too...

da,m $70? so AOL charges you for using their service for cable? i dont get that. i mean its still the internet, just faster   lol, well either way my cable company has the whole cable modem thing and i think they got a package so I might get that if i ever get cable

GET A MAC!! with mac os X the best operating system out there! unix based meaning it wont crash trust me and the interface is just really nice.

and i always here people talk shit about the mac they say something to the extent that  i dont care how it looks just how it works. well the Mac looks and works better than pc's

i always use this example would you rather have a girl that just fucks good or a girl that looks and fucks good!!! huh answer me that.

as for internet service if you can afford it go with broadband internet service and if i had to use a dial up i would never use AOL or MSN i hate them both i would of all the big companies go with earthlink and if not just go with the ghetto companies they are like 10-15 bucks a month compared to 25 bucks
