How do u make these little moving pics???

Like the one in my sig.................i know somebody put it up.  How do u make them......cuzz the file extension is .gif?????  Just  wondering??????? ???

i just put them one after the other without any spaces!!! no skipping lines.........hopefully it will help!!

Try downloading the evaluation copy of Paint Shop Pro 7, probably find it on Download.com should work for 30days without reg.  It comes with a program called Animation Shop which allows creation of .gif animations from the frames you give it.

Almost forgot, try and keep the size down using its built in optimizer so peeps on the board on 56k get to see it.  To give you an idea that, lakers animation you have is 200k and will take about 40 seconds at 5k/sec <- modem speed.

hey yeah i was the one that made that laker animation and i made it using Adobe Image Ready and the reason its so big is that it has lots of colors and also it has something like 60 frames so its alot of info i even compressed it so it was about the lowest i can get it without it looking crappy its very easy to make these things the right term for this kind of file is called an "animated gif" i do it using image ready it comes if you have photoshop its a program that comes with it

lol thats from stuff magazine
but yeah use adobe photo shop i think,, or paint shop
yeah even if they are not free.. u can always crack em lol

by the way i made it on a mac so this is how i did it. i downloaded the video of a website i think it was nba.com then when i downloaded it i opened it up on quicktime player and i have the pro version you might need this one too and exported it as an image sequence so it splits it up into pictures then i opened up image ready and tiled them on as an animation on the timeline and then just save it as a gif and thats it i know it seems hard but once you acctually do it its very easy and another thing is that im experienced with this stuff too so i have been using it for about 3-4 years now so if you have any problems and you are using a Mac especially hit me up and i will help you
