"Chairman Of The Board"  Timbo & Dre??
« on: September 22, 2001, 10:47:03 AM »
Trauma just reported on news that Timbaland was talking about him and Dre producing and album together.  He said it would feature artists from Beat Club & Aftermath.  What makes this wierd is Erick Sermon first talked about a "Chairman Of The Board" album a few years back saying Dre would do it with him...that fell through.  I don't know, I doubt this wll come through any time soon.  I actually don't want to see a Timbaland/Dre album.

Peep the full story & quotes @ the new wckillaz.

Yeah , i like Timbaland he's one of my favorite producer , but i think it's a bad idea...
Dre was supposed to record an album with Lord Finesse too, so it's just a project for the moment.
Shit ,once again if he really wants to try something new he should work with Reznor !He's waiting for you Dre !!
I've just read an interview where he expressed his wish to work with him !
Damn i don't wanna hear Magoo over a Dre beat , hell no !

I Think It'll Happen, But It Won't Be Dre And Timbaland, It'll Be Dre CoProducing With A Variety Of Producers, Like Timbaland Said.  it'll Be A While.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Well ... each has very distinct sounds, I don't know if they would match or sound right, but its always worth a try...

Dre rarely does remixes.

Mellow reported this to us! He said Dre would do a remix of it because he didn't want to miss a once in a lifetime oppurtunity, because Dre feels Marvin is one of the greatests singers ever, and a true legend, and this was Dre's only chance to do a track withm Marvin, since there is no other matirial left, and it costs a fortune to use...So Dre did do a remix of "Music"...

Yep, I never denied your statement NIK.  Before "B Please II" dropped people were saying that it's rare for Dre to do remixes.  Dre said he didn't really like doing it because it's not original.
