hey thanks for that.....but id say east coast knowledge has to go to tom....west...well im not sure lots of people got different knowledge of the west but if i had to go with anyone it would be gate won....the south and midwest is a toss up with me n west coast vet...but i think overall wcv got the most knowledge

Being a knowledgeable head means more then just knowing artists and albums.  There's a whole culture, business and history behind hip-hop.  I nominate myself because I'm 20, and I've been closely following hip-hop since I was 12, reading all the magazines cover to cover, I've read several books, for example right now I'm reading "The Hip-Hop Generation" by a form editor of the Source, and I've gone back and studied the history and artists before 93 when I first got heavy into hip-hop.  Peace.

just playin actually id say trauma is the smartest dude i've come across on here, or any message board for that matter although i only go to one other..

although im sure there are more people that know a lot about hiphop, but trauma seems like he has a good head on his shoulders overall..

I like to think I know enough about all areas of hip-hop, and 50% of that I owe to this place. There's not a day that goes by where I don't learn something on here from someone, thats why I love coming here, to learn and to share as much of my knowledge as I can. Hip-hop is too damn big for someone to know absolutely everything, it grows bigger and bigger everyday. New MC's, DJ's, graff artists, producers etc surface all the time, it would be impossible to know of every single person involved in the hip-hop culture. No matter how much you read or how much you listen there's no way you could know everything.
