just came from a funeral, 5 men lost their mother
tragic, couple of em happen to be my brothers
no father, mother in poverty raising some gangstaz
gangstaz turned fathers, still got the same neighbours
mother shot point blank, killed in a robbery
broke everybody's heart, damaging their artery
I always wondered why death never bothered me
but this was different, she wasn't part of our society
she was heavenly, the burial gave me anxiety
wondering why god took her out violently
she was an angel, a postive light in the town
one of the only positive people around
and to sum up what she went through takes days
months, years, shit, I'm on my knees, givin praise
she used to cook us food, did nothing but supply
all we did was fuck up and make her cry
I refused to go to the grave and say good-bye
because she gone remain wit us, just in the sky
we fucked up alot, her love was always unconditional
she gone take care of us, she was always traditional
