......But can someone educate me on "Foesum"? I remember downloading some mixtapes of them a few years back. I think Tha Eastsidaz were featured on them...but just recently I started hearing about Snoop working with em back in the day? I've read in a few threads today about an album "Perfection" being the bomb...I really feel like I'm missing out here people! School ya boi! :)

foesum is probably my favorite and most cohesive g funk album out the west coast ever. its in my top 10 west coast albums for sure.
the album title Perfection is very appropriate, as they nailed the sound to a T.

Who's in the group Foesum? What kind of ties did Snoop have with them to be making music with them back in the late 80's-early 90's?

Foesum consists of T-Dubb, MNMsta, and DJ Glaze who handles most of the beats. Wayniac from the Twinz was a member in the early stages. As for their connection with Snoop, not really sure how they got together, but they are all from the LBC.

Foesum is tight as hell.  Perfection is definitely one of the best G-Funk albums ever.  They're still going strong, they released a bangin album in 05.

Yeah I was just bumpin that song with Snoop a little bit ago, so that's what brought up in my head "Hey, how did these dudes get together".
I never noticed about that line from Nuthin But A G Thang pertaining to the group Foesum though. Good find bro! Props!

the album is ALWAYS compared to Twinz - Conversation (which is a good thing) , like its kinda hard to mention one without the other.. and im sure theres been numerous times its been debated on this board. but i just wanted to clear the air, FOESUM - PERFECTION >> TWINZ  - CONVERSATION, hahah.

the funny thing about that Foesum - Perfection Limited Edition was that it was originally a bootleg. I remember DJ glaze saying that he just randomly found it on the internet, and that someone was just selling them, and that it wasnt official.
I guess Glaze bought it out or something and started selling it himself.

I stumbled upon MNMSTA's album in the middle of 2004, and I was amazed at hwo fresh the sound was;
http://cdbaby.com/cd/mnmsta.

I remember thinking of the Foesum and Snoop track the first time that I heard Cali is Active; check our track 13, Ture to the Game;
http://cdbaby.com/cd/foesum4.

Foesum's site it out of stock on the Limited Edition Perfetion re-release, but CD Baby has it if anyone is intersted.
