2 my fav mc - 2pac & ice cube
This is a great thread BTW. I think I would have to listen to a few other rappers catalogues to make a sound choice, but mos def for the west it's Cube hands down.
I personally feel like, if Cube had stop making music after Lethal Injection, he really could be up for candidate of Greatest Rapper. But after the first WSC album, his stuff has slowly deteriorated in my eyes. He still has a dope track here or there, but on the whole it's subpar to me.

Like I said, for me I find the subject matter he picks really makes a difference in the song. The more party tracks from him can come off a little bland at times but ones with solid topics he shows he can still wreck shop.
