I'm not sure if this is the same trailer from the scream awards, but a little info for those that haven't heard of it... Robert Rodriguez wrote half the movie, and Quentin Tarrantino wrote the other half.  They're both feature length, so altogether it's going to be one long double feature.  In the center of the two films are fake trailers, lol.  The footage in the trailer of the guy with the Machettes is probably one of the fake films they're advertising between the two movies. 

This will likely be the best film of next year.

Well Tarantino's half is supposed to be a slasher so that is probably from the film.

Grind House is a 2007 film that consists of two segments, of which both are feature-length attractions. One segment, Planet Terror, will be a zombie film written and directed by Robert Rodríguez. The other segment, Death Proof, will be a slasher film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. There will also be trailers advertising fake films between the segments. Grind House is expected to be released on 6 April 2007.

Fake trailers

Between the two segments will be trailers advertising fake films. Tarantino has stated that fake trailers will be shot for a blaxploitation film, a kung fu film, a sexploitation movie and a Spaghetti Western film. Tarantino confirmed that he will be directing the trailer for the sexploitation "film" Cowgirls in Sweden. In an interview with Danny Trejo, the actor said that he will be in a fake trailer for a movie called They Call Him Machete. Trejo's other characters in Rodriguez movies have also had names similar to knives, such as Razor Charlie in From Dusk Till Dawn. [1]. In addition, Eli Roth (who is also planning to make a cameo in the film[2]) and Edgar Wright have been confirmed to direct fake trailers.

Yeah, but this trailer is Rodriguez's "Planet Terror".
Tarantino's part stars Kurt Russell and I thinks it's still shooting or has been finished recently.

Word? I thought it was mad fun. There were some corny parts, but it didn't affect it that much imo. Just the whole experience was awesome. I think Q did Death Proof, and that was cool, except there was like an hour of womanly chatter that easily could have been cut out. All in all it was great imo and I'ma cop that DVD the day it drops.
