Assuming you're threatened at gun point on a daily basis, by at least 40% of the muslims you see on the streets, I find your point totally acceptable.

As for the harsh climate: you tell me how come muslims live happily amongst each other in muslim countries. Is that also the violent nature of Islam, or is something here provoking some of them, causing them to behave differently in western countries? Actually, what you've said characterizes nationalists more than fascists.  Nationalists (in the Western sense of the term) are people who are so afraid of their cultural heritage (usually based on race or religion) being diluted by immigrants that they become xenophobic.  Nationalists are not necesarily authoritarian or against Western liberal capitalist values.  Fascists are basically to nationalists what Maoists are to socialists - a more extreme, militaristic version.

Furthermore, some Islamist governments and militant groups are borderline fascist in many ways...ever heard the term "Islamofascism"?  There's a good reason that white nationalists in America and Europe have forged cooperative ties with Islamist groups in the Middle East recently.  Think about some of the ways in which Nazism and Islamism are linked...they're both anti-Semitic (obvious reason), they both view foreigners as a threat to the "purity" of their civilization (recall how Khomeini tried to purge Iran of "dangerous" Western influences), and they both believe that they have the right to fight an expansionist military campaign (jihad in Islamist-speak) to make sure that the rest of the world is free of influences threatening to their own.  Even Infinite nowadays tends to act as an apologist for Nazi Germany.
