Quote
Mexico youngster Andres Guardado has confirmed that he is close to agreeing a move to Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven from CF Atlas.

The highly rated left-sided midfielder has 20 international caps to his name, although injury has ruled him out of the Copa America currently being played in Venezuela.

The 20-year-old said: "Things are looking good.

"There were other clubs interested in me, but PSV's offer was the most concrete."

PSV have been interested in Guardado for some time, seeing him as a natural successor to the retired Phillip Cocu.

I would say he's Mexico's best player and also the most versatile.  He can play Left Forward, Left midfield, left back, and as a defensive minded midfielder.  Great pace, great long passing ability and great shot.

Some pretty cool goals, moves...
