Your favorite Battlecat beat?
« on: July 19, 2001, 11:10:59 AM »
BC has been dropping heater after heater recently, but what do you think is his best beat to date?

personally i think Loud & Clear from Xzibits cd, the sounds on that are unlike anything ive heard, he got samples of singing monks on there, tight synths, nice percussion. its a perfect beat IMO

I've always felt his production on "We Can Freak It"

from Kurupt but I got's to go wit "G'd Up" also, that

shit was some real heavy shit from

Battlecat. "ILUVIT" from "Duces N' Trayz..." is a phat

bit of contemporary production from him though.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

I gotta agree with Loc on Loud & Clear. That was my favorite track on Restless and the beat was just amazing.

even though it was co produced by mel man get your walk on is his best

i luv it is tight
just clownin'
we can freak it
step up
dollars drank and dank

i dunno though some of his beats are really fucking tight  a fair amount of them sound cheezy becuase he uses a fucked up drum machine and uses cheap bass lines
