I wouldn't blame this on Kerr, the Suns are notorious for selling their draft picks.  This sits with the owner.

Its safe to say this deal doesn't make sense to anyone with half a brain. Kurt Thomas and 2 first round draft picks for a 2nd round draft pick

They were selling off first round picks before Kerr was ever there.  This is a move to stay out of the luxury tax.
