I've never really been into the whole club-thing and I'm pretty sure I won't go clubbing in the future neither. I never feel comfortable in those places...always get the feeling it's so forced: you pay your entry, you order your drinks (I don't drink alcohol) and then with a snap of your finger you're supposed to wild the fuck out. That doesn't really cut it for me. Just not part of my character, I guess.

I usually get dressed up and go to a nice lounge pub where you can at least have a decent conversation with someone, instead of having to yell in each other's ear all the time.

Not hating on clubbing though. Just saying it's not my cup of tea, is all.

Last time I went clubbing was on a mates bucks night. It was a house club and it went off. Didn't even have a collar (no tees n shorts like in the Gold Coast, lol). Rocked in in a black tee, jeans n chucks, to the disbelief of those waiting in the long queue that went around the building, lol. It's good to know the bouncers. Had a blast, but I'd rather go to a bar where it's quieter.

yeah i agree, in the uk there is a infactuation with places that are bars but try to be clubs. Basically thay put on some cheesy music at a real loud level so no one can talk, unless your screaming down there ear. The dance floor is about the size of small car so you cant dance, so basically you stand there sipping ya jd thinking how shit is this.

I go out pretty reguarly but its mainly due to boredom.
