yeah even though it was basically a reserve team i expected a better showing.

The one good thing was a turn out of 74 thousand, 60 thousand at emirates to see arsenal reserves . It just makes chelsea 24 thousand for the champions league even more embarrassing.

hahaha i dont think Reading will want to see El Nino again any time soon...was fouled in the sedond minute  and from then on 80% of the time he got on the ball...was denied an iron-clad penalty as well but was really impressed with how he coped with it all and wasnt found wanting or hiding away from the physical aspects and responded in the best way possible a hat-trick


not to take away from the team effort though...Arbeloa looked decent in the centre...and Leto nor Leiva looked out of place...Aurelio seems to back in full fitness which is a plus...Gerrard was looking lively when he come on...i just hope it carries to the next game and Benitez plays Torres

yeah the cup ticket scheme is out of order. Where i sit was where the coventry fans were so i was given an option whether i wanted to purchase a ticket, as i was working i decided not to.

I wouldnt say the young players arent good i think it was more of a case of a lot be thrown in together against a good championship side. They should have done better though, there was same talk when we lost 3-0 at home to York in the league cup in 1995.
