Put it this way, it's one thing as fans of hip-hop to debate Eminem's skill as an MC. It's quite another thing when a reputable veteran MC like Rakim gives mad praise to Eminem. An artist as established and respected as Rakim recognizing skill of another artist is proof enough that sometimes hip-hop fans aren't your most informed critics when it comes to debating skills. It takes one to know one. So when Rakim says "Em is nasty" and "real artists recognize real artists" then case closed.
