It's just another day in city of a life of LA,
problematics we face, hidden the truth in everyway.
A life of hopeless, many young ones know this,
Fatherless, drug addicts fallen into life of abyss.
Such things we acknowledge, yet, we don't understand,
I wonder why God gave me a life to stand....what plan?
Am I imagining things that we were meant to materialize,
and never realize that we living in no lives.
A flesh of my burnin' desire, to seek real the truth,
with no seed, I wonder how we survived broken root?
Getting by through burning time as I get high,
looking through sky, I realized my heart never lie.
I see many feeling lost by getting drunk,
losing jobs, family and students getting punked.
I can't imagine how we dwell in the lonely hell
sinking our soul deeper in our watery well.
It's only a fantasy to see your homies succeed
but in reality, we living harrasment by police.
putting young kids on their knees
and never had the chance to achieve their needs.
Could it be...?
the history of our mistake to do nothing repeats?
