torres is... :o

i swear ppl were stressing the point that he isnt a natural goalscorer beore he signed???..dosent look like it lol just has settled into english football with a huge price on his head and adjusted in a way that i cant think of one player to do the same has...if this is his bedding-in season then dammmmnn just makes scoring goals look easy...goal against marseille tonight being the perfect example

think we can banish the dark ole days of relyin on morientes, pongolle, mellor, cisse(though i quite liked him lol) etc

I still can't believe you paid well less than £30m for him.

He is worth double that at such and age, as well as so much talent and experience.

defintly i think the experience has been key to him settling so much quicker...and he now has better players around him

his pace and gerrard picking out his runs  :o

should also mention Babel getting another...lad has certainly started to get his consistency up and is beginning to look comfortable playing...

roll on Utd

Yeah Babel has done a great job, not being playing much but he seems to be getting maybe 2 or 3 chances coming off the bench and taking at least 1.

No Huns in the last 16. Congrats Lyon. I tried to watch this game with an open mind and think "Rangers qualifying is good for Scottish football". Didnt work one bit. Go home ya huns go home.

Another predictable evening, pretty much all the results went the way I thought they would. Shame I didn't put a coupon on.

Rangers was the game of the missed opportunities you can hardly miss  :-X

1st Govou then Benzema and on the fast break Darcheville , this one would have change the momentum of the game .. Lyon deserved it but sad they are WAY less stronger than these last 4 years

They are in the top 16 with Celtic and that's what matters. ;)
