Mista Bourne preps new album "A Star Is Bourne" dropping Oct. 9th

Toronto rapper and Rexdale native, Mista Bourne is preparing to release his first studio album and second overall release on October 9th, 2007 entitled "A Star Is Bourne".

His first release, a mixtape entitled "Tired of Waitin" moved over 1,000 units and was reviewed in one of Canada's fastest growing urban publications, SWAGG News.

"A Star Is Bourne" features guest appearences from some of Toronto favorite MC's such as Aristo, Richie Sosa, Rich London, Luu Breeze, among others. On the production side Beat Juggernaut, Legion of Beats and Stand Out Music handle most of the albums beats.

The album's first single "Name of the Game" featuring Luu Breeze (Produced by Stand Out Music) has had a succesful response on the world wide web, college radio and the Toronto underground. The single is also on Flow 93.5's show OTA Live for there Top 10 MegaCity Countdown segment (it can be voted for at http://www.hiphopcanada.com/megacitycountdown ) plans of a video for the song are also being made.

In preperation for the album Mista Bourne has launced a new MySpace ( http://www.myspace.com/madfam ) and will also be releasing a 5 song sampler of the album that will be availble in streets and online for download.

"A Star Is Bourne" will also be available in Sunrise Record locations across the Greater Toronto Area and more store listings will be available soon
