Funny, because to me, that's exactly what I like about this album.

Nowadays, you get an album with 40 producers, with no cohesive sound and every 2nd track sounding out of place. This album is very well put together.

True. Consistent is the word. But it's two tracks which are almost the same with beat and lyrics

Overused Kane Beatz, imo. He made some bangers, but some generic tracks too. "standing ovation" and "come back to the streets" are ehhh... beats are aight, but they cant compare with the production (+ hooks) on "morning news", "wont let you down" and "welcome to the south".

The rest of the album is on-point, though.

If you listen to Kanye's albums you hear a cohesive sound, but the songs don't all sound the same. Maybe I shouldn't talk about this Chamillionaire album though because even though I like him as a rapper, I can't listen to 10 tracks in a row from him.

i agree with both Timbo & smegma, i had that feeling [what timbo said] with that new Curtis album, that has NO album feel at all, doesnt have no ''direction'', but that new chamillionaire got that same sound during the whole album

i agree. i really like cham, but his cd kinda sounds like one long song. but its good regardless.
