We have been at the forefront of the support behind the mixtape series that has become an online and street phenomenon since the first edition was released.

"Western Hospitality" is of course the brain-child of September 7th of the Cali Untouchable DJs, the series which started off as just a mixtape yet has spawned monthly sequals since he came to Dubcnn earlier this year with the idea to release a "Western Hospitality" mixtape for free download every 7th of the month.

The feature - which you now know as "On The 7th With The 7th" - has spread virally online to become a fixture of peoples monthly downloads to get the latest new music.

As we have been reporting since July, September 7th is celebrating not only a landmark tenth edition - but also the date that is his name - with a very special release: a double CD edition of the series entitled "Western Hospitality 10." To split the discs September 7th went and scooped up to of the hottest names on the coast Crooked I and Ya Boy to host and record music on Discs 1 and 2 respectively.

The $3 double CD download will be released in full tomorrow September 7th, 2008. To celebrate its coming September 7th is throwing a release party tonight (Saturday 6th) at Hollywood Highlands. In attendence will be Crooked I and Ya Boy as well as many suprise guests. Those who manage to attend will receive physical copies and be able to celebrate the Western Hospitality series.
