you know whats a real damn shame though?

i was riding in my car and flipped on the radio just for a second before i pressed CD.  i hardly listen to the radio anymore.  and as i was flipping, i was dialed in to 106.1 fm.  and the bitch(dj) was talkin about how spice was shot.  and i was like oh shit.  but then something really strange happened...she actually played one of his songs.

i know you guys is saying "what so amazing about that?"  well, its just ironic to me that unless this nigga is on his death bad, the radio would refuse to play his shit.  and if you think about it and say if the Bay Area radio stations, and the LA stations would promote our home grown shit a little more, this could have been somewhat avoided.  i mean people get shot everyday over here.  but spice should get way more credit and respect than what has been getting.  this just proves why and how mainstream outlets do not give a FUCK about the community they are operating in, rather bite the hand thats fedding you and then lay a fat ass turd down they throat.

Very true, it is tough to get radio play, they barely ever played Mac Dre until after he died on KMEL, and that's the station that endorses local music the most. They have their little community events and all that, but they really fail to support their local artists enough, or push them to more markets. It also goes by requests, and everyone wants to request their love songs, so that cuts a lot of airplay away also.

Yeah we shouldn't be expecting Spice to retaliate, just hope that he recovers. Also, we shouldn't want him to come back and murder whoever attacked him, two wrongs don't make a right, plus Spice would get locked up, the violence would continue, things would only get worse.

In the game you know, you got two real ennemies "The Cops" if only you said a word on them in a song and you got the haters, every artist got haters but in the rap game, real jealous ass can kill you for  nuthin'... They used to be, maybe your friends, from your family, haters from nowhere, if you look better it's all about the money and being famous and annoying to some people etc...
