What was your first introduction to rap?

I know there are alot of younger dudes in here just want to know what introduced everybody to the world of hiphop? I first got into it in 1990 with yes MC HAMMER ;D and then Vanilla ICE ;D before I got into NWA in 1991 and got serioulsy into gangsta rap

I got into rap music after listening to MC Hammer, A bit of Too Short, Kriss Kross as well... Naughty By Nature... After that the Chronic came out and I just kept going.

First Rap I heard was from Dr.Dre and the first cd I bought was Snoop's Doggystyle

4 me it was dre day my mother use 2 have that video on vhs and i would sneak and watch that shit lol

when I was real young I'd hear my brother playing Eazy-E "Real Muthaphukkin Gz" and Doggystyle, Wu-Tang.... I remember it just catchin my ear

early 90s with hammer, fresh prince, vanilla ice

but it really started when i herd DOGGYSTYLE in 93 while chillin wit my cuzzin... i been bumpin dat westcoast g-shit ever since

Pretty much the same.

Then I got really into NWA, 2pac, and the Chronic. 8)
