I found forever because never will I stay,
In one place at one time and watch my life drain away,
I forget where I came from, my roots and stems,
I've been reaching for light but darkness always wins,
Own ability over agility, its killin me, in reality, tryin to be, somebody, but that aint me,
Lost people close to me, forgot to pay respects,
Cos I was run down with fever, aching for pay checks,
Couldnt even say goodbye, and now I cannot cry,
Cos with every tear from my eye its like another lie,
So as you lye there still, I say another prayer,
And wish that God looks after you, cos I know now youre up there,
And I hate to sound dishonest, but I just cannot live,
Knowing until that very day you gave all you could give,
To me and my brother growing, holidays always knowing,
You and your humble home, the door was always open,
And we would all be fishing in the stream through the back,
Cooking in your plush kitchen, the steam ....
