Hopes for 2008 (also with a slight catch)
« on: December 16, 2007, 10:36:44 AM »
What is everyone's hopes for 2008. The catch is that an artist that released an album this year cannot be put on your list.

Mine is a long list (not in any order):

Dr. Dre
Bishop Lamont
Eminem
Stat Quo
Raekwon
Gza
Snoop Dogg
The Game
Ludacris
Bun B
NYG'z (their album this year was a street album so it doesn't count. I want the 1 full of Primo productions)
Slim Thug
Young Jeezy
Ice Cube
Nas
Saigon
Papoose
Jadakiss
L.O.X.
Lil Jon
Xzibit

It could probably go on for longer but that is all I can think of right now.

Added:

Busta Rhymes
Crooked I (how did I forget him)

Stat Quo , Saigon, Pap won't drop 4 sure ..

I'm waiting for :

Bishop ( have my doubts it will come in 2008 , you know Interscope  ::)
Quik
Xzibit (if he does a better choice production wise)
Cube
Game
Snoop (still very doubtful about the quality , I hope Quik is heavily involved in it and not just one or 2 songs)
Nas (idem , got some doubts about the direction of the album and the choices of producers)

I don't know if Raekwon gonna drop his album , no label yet , I'm not confident about this situation at all

I want the "Middle Passage" too , what the fuck happened to this album

TQ -> I hope for an album that comes close to his first solo album.
Snoop -> I hope he doesn't go too much pop this time around. Another TBCT would please me.
Game -> He hasn't disappointed yet.
Dr. Dre -> I hope it was worth waiting, but I have a feeling it'll be very disappointing.
Z-Ro -> It's always good to hear some new Z-Ro.

That's about it as far as the artists I really am interested in hearing new albums.

Probably not coz he didn't sign with the Math  and I don't see Dre focusing on a project which isn't on his label (if you read interviews it's still very UNCLEAR if Dre had already made songs with Raek or not .. ) anyways a Raekwon album should be 100% RZA
