IGNORANCE.

Making money is actually a virtue. There's nothing wrong with getting paid according to the value you've created. Money may in fact be among the best things mankind has come across.

Greed and pride, they're innate. They are driving forces that keep mankind going. Greed is what makes man strive for progression. We would be sitting ducks if it weren't for greed. Pride is an important force, going hand in hand with greed. It's a direct effect of man's ability to reflect on his self. You compare yourself to others, you find things to be proud of, you work on your self image, and in the end you can achieve happiness.

Sad thang to say but, people.

Come on now, QT! You know better than that! People aren't evil by their very nature! Look at all the great things mankind has achieved; how are you going to call all of that evil? How can people be evil, with all the potential they posess?

Now that I largely agree with. It's certain institutional structures that can really oppress all of man's positive potential, or on the flip side let evil flourish. Socialism is known to be a destructing force, yet some people (often egotistically) believe in minimizing human rights (e.g. claiming the rights to other peoples property, efforts or even lives), to the (unearned) benefits of some, but never of the whole of mankind. That's just an example though, but basically any institution preaching altruism or placing collectivity over individual can be regarded as evil by its very nature. They do not treat every man as equal by his nature, and they let the virtuous carry the weight of the meek and incompetent. That's rewarding incompetence, and punishing virtuocity. I call it evil.

That's also why I'm calling man's ignorance out as the greatest evil in the world. The seven deadly sins aren't sinful at all, as long as they're placed in context. Most of them are basic driving forces which require 'only' civilization in man to enable him to live successfully amongst others.
Don't blame your own driving forces; blame your lack of knowing what to do with them, how to control them and how to use them to your benefit. Now that's what I call ignorance.
