I used to be way into these theories on 'the system' being controlled by some puppeteers and all, but that's something I grew out of. Fast food is develish, and it's borderline insanity to call it tasty when you know what a fresh salad or some salmon tastes like. It's like people forget though, after the Burger King corporate heads show them some crazy stylized commercials. They make you believe their burgers are excellent food; forget about the dullness of the taste of the meat they put in your burger, or the sloppiness of the salads and sauces. That's how the corporate world operates. It's not like someone's plotting out to destroy your health - it's just that they don't care about it at all.

Well, go to any poor neighborhood and you'll find a grip of fast food joints on every corner. Not the case in the more upper class areas. Still no excuse though for the lack of ignorance people have by going there and eating everyday and then blaming the fast food places for their diabetes and lack of grocery stores in the community.
