My opinion on it is, he's an actor.  He has the right to believe, practice, say whatever he wants.  Why does anybody even care?  What Tom Cruise is thinking right now doesn't matter two shits to my life.

the fact that he helped coax all those people in to that cult he's a part of kinda makes it scary.

ive heard doctors openly admit that psychiatry as a whole is largely a joke though and misdiagnosed on the regular. Its not hard to sound like you know something when no one can honestly prove you wrong

Yeah... they call it "Scientology" because they believe it's a religion based in Science, they claim that Psychiatry is not a science at all.  They've got a pretty valid point, the counseling aspect of psychiatry isn't a science at all, and they take exception to the idea that the brain is often unbalanced chemically.  I don't believe the brain isn't EVER off chemically but I think far too often drugs are prescribed that are unneeded and actually harmful.

psychiatry is a joke, id say like 70% of people are given drugs they dont need and will harm them in the long run more, i believe strongly in psychology tho, i feel that many mental problems can be fixed, with the right training, through communication
