Please Answer The Questions If You Can, I Mean Explain It To Me.

1.What Does A Producer Exactly Do?Just Making A Beat?I Mean When It Says:
"Produced By: XXXX", What Did "XXXX" Do?What About Co-Produced?
2.What Does It Mean To Be Signed To The Label? What Does It Do To Me?From A To Z.
Because Record-Labels Are Like Groups Sometimes, See Rap-A-Lot,Death Row,Murder Inc.
When Artists Talk About One Of These Labels They Reminisce Like They Were In A Group (Not Just About Death Row).
Back In The Days I Read That Sales Of "All Eyez On Me", The Money It Bought, They Payed For Nate Dogg´s Child Support, Homes, Cars, etc. What About That Shit?Does Label Finance Your (Or Other Artists) Life´s Too?This Question Is Not About Just Money.
3.Why Do Labels Sign Artists, Don´t Release Their Shit And Don´t Let Them Go?If They Are "So Bad", Why Do They Keep Them?I Heard 1.00000 Times: "I Was Caught Up In My Contract" or "My Label Wouldnt Let Me Do It (A Feature-Track) I Mean What The Fuck? Why?What´s The Point Behind It?Who Decides What Songs Gonna Be (Or Who Gonna Appear) On The Album?
4.Do Artists That Appear Here And There Get Money Off Label? What About Artists That Appeared On Some "Your Favourite Artist" Records But They´re No-Names That Start To Get Into Rap?I Mean What About "1 Album Artists"?
I Could Name 100000 Artists For An Example But I Think You Understand What I Mean.

Well..this is what i know:
A Producer can either be the person who plays the Instruments and mixes everything down, E.G Dj Quik

Or A Producer can be the one behind the scene telling the Musician how and what to Play.
E.g Quincy Jones,Rick Rubin & Dr Dre,a few others..esp in Rock Music.
a Co-Producer is probably another producer who wants the track to take a different avenue than what it usually takes..

So Essential you have Beat Maker/Producer.
Nowadays more pple are being both!!

Now for these labels tellin' fables,
Makin' the messed-up deals under the tables.
You think that you smart, but, fool, I'm the smartest.
You can't make no money if you can't keep an artist.
Sign the dotted line, put 'em on the shelf.
Break 'em off some crumbs, keep the rest for yourself.
I know how it goes, treat an artist like you know,
Fly cars, gold, clothes, but no dough.
Since it's all business, I'm-a handle mine,
Keep track of my stack down to the very last dime,
'Cause in this rap game, it's all about the buck.
You bend over for the label and you will get bucked,
Like how we run up in the skirt, and then you're through.
The record label do the same thing to you.
90% business, 10% show.
Ain't no love in this game, 'cause it's all about the dough.

Producer sometimes wont even make the beat. He bring the hole song togther, pieces it togther. Then there a mixer who will come in a mix it or he will do it himself ie dr dre.

What does it mean from A to Z i dont know ive never been signed but smaller rap labels are like groups and familly were as big labels i doubt everyone talks to each other.

They sign him and dont release em im guessing so that they dont go somwhere else and shine.

And yes artists get paid for appearences or im guessing sometimes its a exchange like yuo appear on mine ill gte with you on yours.

Its basic but its what limited  of what i know. R Tistic, Style will probbaly be able to go a little bit deeper.
