What rapper should just call it quits?

Spider Loc--he didn't have much to start with, and he hasn't shown any improvement, IMHO.

50 Cent--first album was OK, but he's just been going through the motions ever since.

Jay-Z--has enough money already and he's basically putting out shit just to stay in the game, so to speak.

Kurupt--I liked KURUPTION and THE STREETZ IS A MUTHAFUCKA (and still do),    and SPACE BOOGIE was half-decent, but his rhymes have become too simplistic ever since. I remember people here and on other rap message boards saying that this was because he got fucked up on drugs, but still...Unless he can get off the toot, and start writing better rhymes, I don't see him turning heads anymore.

Master P--even though you don't hear much from him these days, I saw him a few months ago on Chelsea Handler's show on E!, and he was threatening to make an album w/ Lil Romeo (I don't know if it's out yet or not). P was bragging that the CD would have "no swearing, because that age is over, blah blah blah," like he was expecting everyone to pat him on the head and tell him what a good boy he is.  LOL! Seriously, though, P has basically sucked from ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME and on. Evidently, he forgot that it's called rap, not chant. More lyrics, fewer hooks, P. No more goddamn "where you at, where you at, over there, right chea..." If P wants to waste a whole song chanting, he should become a cheerleader. I'm glad that he got his money and that he's living well, but it's a case where he really doesn't have to rap anymore if he doesn't want to.

And even though it's a style (as opposed to an individual rapper), I think that hyphy "music" has gone as far as it can go. The Bay Area needs to get back to lyrics and forget the gay-ass club songs. The Bay is better than that. Just my view, though, and everyone's entitled to their's as well.
