This is a review from cnet.com

By Troy Dreier

(04/09/02)
If you've been following tech news lately, you've already heard of KaZaa, an application that's infamous even in the Wild West world of peer-to-peer file swapping. CNET News.com revealed last week that KaZaa bundles piggyback software that could allow third parties to use your computer to distribute their own content. Even if you're savvy enough to disable the extra software, you can't opt out of installing it, and we can't endorse any application that abuses the trust of its users. If you're after file sharing, stick with Audiogalaxy or LimeWire.

Now I knew about this before it came out with its new version, when you install Kazaa, it will ask if you want these "other" programs installed,  make sure you dont click any boxes...

Hello,

Audiogalaxy does not bundle Onflow or VX2 software with the client. The only pieces of software that are installed that are not part of Audiogalaxy is Gator (if you select it) and web Accelerator (if you select it).

Hope this helps

Thats from the site... and gator is the worse program. It actually steals ur username and password from your email services... your porn passwords and even worse, yes it steal your WCC username and password.... who knows what they do with it, but someone else knows it... not just you

Thanks blade for the link

I never realised but Kazaa could be the reason my computer has has serious problems as of late. They only started after I d/l the program.

And my memory has been pretty much used up and I haven't done anything to do that.

So it has to be that damned program.
