imo, his flow not good, and his subject matter is played out.

i don't understand why dre is working with him

i mean, Xzibit, Hittman and King T for example didn't really come with anything new, but as gangsta rappers they are ten times better than slim the mobster IMO

i agree. i was just saying if u don't like slim because his stuff is played out, so is 95% of the work of dre's proteges. but since that is not the case, u can wipe that out. i personally thought that tape was really dope. 10 gat commandments & his freestyle over tha dpg ny ny beat especially. even the snippet with snoop dogg was dope. at the same time i can see why that "get paid" video would lead some to think so otherwise.

and i don't really have a problem with gangsta rap; as i've said before, for me, a rapper doesn't have to be revolutionary to be good. otherwise i would agree with the 95 % 
i just feel like he's average; and i'm not just basing my opinion on the video, i've also listened to the tape and it didn't impress me.
