OH NO
he sound like 50 cent from the west
hope he is not on detox
he is ridiculously dope man

i respect that you liked the mixtape, but what makes him "ridiculously dope" to you?
imo, his flow not good, and his subject matter is played out.

i don't understand why dre is working with him  :-\
i feel like u can throw the subject matter thing out the window. besides bishop and eminem, like dre is known 2 work with totally mind-blowing creative and unique rappers ::)

i thought his lyrics on that mixtape were dope

it doesn't have to be either "this or "that"; such a view is way too shallow.
while i agree with you that Dre doesn't always work with revolutionary rappers, i think you are overreacting there.
a rapper doesn't have to be revolutionary to be good in a specific category ( for example gangsta rap).
i mean, Xzibit, Hittman and King T for example didn't really come with anything new, but as gangsta rappers they are ten times better than slim the mobster IMO
that's why i feel this:
he is ridiculously dope man
is an exaggeration

i agree. i was just saying if u don't like slim because his stuff is played out, so is 95% of the work of dre's proteges. but since that is not the case, u can wipe that out. i personally thought that tape was really dope. 10 gat commandments & his freestyle over tha dpg ny ny beat especially. even the snippet with snoop dogg was dope. at the same time i can see why that "get paid" video would lead some to think so otherwise.

my opinion i guess.

yeah but that's your opinion indeed  ;)
and i don't really have a problem with gangsta rap; as i've said before, for me, a rapper doesn't have to be revolutionary to be good. otherwise i would agree with the 95 %  ;)
i just feel like he's average; and i'm not just basing my opinion on the video, i've also listened to the tape and it didn't impress me.

so i think we just disagree with eachother  ;)
