Received my copy of 2nd II None this last Tuesday.  So far I haven't ordered the Dj Quik, and I'm not sure if I'm going to.  I'm really looking forward to hearing the 2nd II None though.  I've been working a lot of overtime, so I haven't had time to check it out yet.

Quote from: Soopafly DPGC about his hands
I don't live for the man, but I do study him so I can hope my pimp hands one day become as strong as his. When i first started listening to him, my hands were only strong enough to crush a beetle.  Now that i've studied him for 15 years, my hands are strong enough to crush a dog.

This is for all you mf's who kept these cats on the leash just to mess with people holding over shit that's out there.

Petey Doing what others wouldn't do cuz cats are procrastinating moochers. And you really can't get out of it.

(in DJ QUIK STEELO)

Once upon a time there was this cat named Petey
For that Dj Quik he was rather needy
talking all that shit about hook a brotha up
Cuz Petey was a gfunk fiend and shit out of luck

Now he says he has the tracks
And petey saying I got ya back
But he aint hooking up just a lot of nothing
Instead Petey saying it's coming but he fronting

Hmm Have we seen this before?
Petey is the type to beg at your door
But when you need something he say what for?
Well it's too bad Petey doesn't know the meaning of sincere
If you ask me I think Petey needs a kick in the ass or the rear
And thats the end of the story are we clear?

people can talk all the shit they want, but imo this was well worth the $30 & $50 ... both cd's have shit i haven't (and i'm pretty sure alot of other mu fukkas too  8)) heard be4 so i ain't complaining ... the 2nd ii none is off the hook and so is the quik ... ur gettin ur moneys worth homie dont trip, and the "way2fonky radio drop" it only happens once in each song, and anyways that was quiks radio show name ...

Word. For some it was worth their money but for the rest, it was well worth the wait. We all (Im assuming) wanted that DJ Quik project more than the 2nd II None release and I have to say, Boom is one of my favourite Quik joints, EVER!
