Wow, I've been listening to these guys for a minute, they're from Amsterdam and they make Hip-Hop with a lot of jazz influence, and they're really amazing. I had the chance to catch them live last night and interview them, and their live show is off the hook, these cats are talented as hell, here are two youtube links for those of you who don't know them:

Yeah ya'll make sure to check them out, they got an album from 2005 called "Mindstate" and one from 2007 called "Mystery Repeats".

They opened up for Kanye about two years ago. I was very impressed. The singer has got a very energetic stage presence. Dude knows how to hype up a crowd...
But I checked out their Mindstate album, and although it isn't bad, I can't say I really enjoyed it. I think it's the type of band I enjoy seeing live, but not album-wise.

Tickets to their shows were more expensive than KRS-One, Pharoahe Monch, Little Brother or Masta Ace, and I didn't really think Mindstate was that impressive at all... So I decided not to go. Actually, I thought their music was kinda corny at times, and it felt uninspired. Maybe that's just me though.

Nima if you like the vibe of their music, you should listen to "Hocus Pocus" .. same kind of sound but SO MUCH better .. if French lyrics don't bother you

A homie of me took me to the concert, and I was pretty amazed too.

they are great, i think their new album is better then "mindstate". I have never seen them live tho..

I bet they were influenced by devin the dude on their single "insomnia".

when i saw them it was like 12.50 or something.

16 or 18 here I believe, while I went to Little Brother the other week for a mere 8 euros. Nuff said 8)
