As you found Zipping MP3's is a bit pointless as MP3 itself is already a compressed format, the compression they use is pretty much as good as using Zip which explains them being the same size.

How many MP3's are we talking about here, if its only a couple then you could use utilities to split them across multiple floppy disks and use the same util on your pc to put them back together.  Any reason why you can't just email them home - mail server limits/slow connection ?

im talkin about around 60-80 mp3s, my email account is on hotmail, which wont allow attachments of anywhere near the size of the mp3s, does any1 know of a server that would allow the mp3s to be sent as an attachment, also could you give me a link to the utility needed for splitting them over floppy discs?

Thanx again.

Theres loads of splitting utils, heres one : http://www.freebyte.com/freeware/#hjsplit

You do realise that 80 mp3s will mean about 280 floppies tho !!

How about getting yourself some free webspace and upload them there then download them at home.

No worries. :)

Don't forget your network admin may keep logs of internet usage, but of course the MP3's you upload will of course be completely legit ones !
