i have to agree with you.. only about 85%... unless you are homosexual or bisexual... then you will never know.. what causes it.... i my self... know why i bisexual... and it is not all sexual.... but it has nothing to do with teasing or enviroment... i grew up with a my dad.. and that doesn't make me bisexaul... and if you want to get into.. what is called Learned Behavior.. then you should know.. that the belief sytem in that... is what can be learned can be unlearned.. in that case.. why do the mojority of homosexual.. stay that way... i have a very very good homosexual friend... who i love... more then just about anyone.. Man, no beef, but ya'll are some fucked up right wing muthafuckas. I mean so what if someones gay. If your somfortable with ur own sexuality then why should someone elses matter. So nature didnt mean for people to be gay. Why? Because they can't reproduce? Does that mean "god""allah" whatever, hates women who are unable to reproduce? What about men who deliberitely become infertile? Are they "scum of the earth" and against the way of nature? I think that, if there is a good, he made us giving us free choice. The choice to be attracted to men or women. The fact is, the majority of men are attracted to women, so whats the problem. Add to that, the fact that the world population is exploding, and there maybe you have a reason why "god" created homosexual human beings.

For the record:
1. I am completely hetrosexual
2. I find seeing men "together" is repulsive, but different strokes for different strokes
3. I have no firm beliefs in any religion, but i remain open minded.

I strongly believe that religion is a bigot driven form of control for the weak to hold on to, for those who can't stand in this world on their two feet without clutching onto some fucked up moral code.. which each faction's dictates and manipulates for its own cause.

I agree with the moral principles of many regligions, but... when religions are trippin over anything  (like abortion issues/race/sexuality etc) then they outta line.

I dont have a problem with Gay people, in fact Ive met a few and they are the nicest people Ive ever met,

Trauma is right in a sense that the ones he met are the scum of the earth, but I couldnt class the ones Ive met like that,

Everyone is entitled to there opinion, and homosexuality though in my eyes seems wrong in another man/womans eyes seems right, and its people expressing there feelings at the expense of others that makes this world a bad place,

Honestly, and I don't care what feedback I get, I think Religion is above some people.    Some people just don't have the capacity to deal with, or envision something that they can't prove.  Religion is theoretical, and after you exercise faith in it, it becomes Psycho-physiological.  Some people enjoy what religion adds to their life, and some people don't have any desire for something they can't put their hands on.  For them, they'll never be Religious, because they think it makes them look stupid, or whatever, to admit that they're not in control of their lives.  I used to think slightly like that, then I realized I was ego trippin', and didn't have power over even my heart.  Basically, as a human, we can control about half our muscles, and our vocal chords.  Everything else, is ran autonomiously by our body; we don't have control over anything in our world, other people, nature, or even our desires.  By embracing religion, I learned what I had no control over, and at the same time, gained control of my desires, my emotions, my senses, obtained goals in my life, etc. etc. etc.  I was fine without it, but when I realized the bigger picture, I became a much better person.

not say that all of christianity is bigoted, and yup.. being gay isn't natural... all the gay males i have met  went into it through being forced/raped. women however.... I can  understand because - to be honest, we're told lesbians are cool these days, we're told woman are beautiful and sexy. which they are -  but bi women are better and coming from a 'fancying women' perspective myself, it seems natural.

Seriously though, trauma was right I did mean  'emotionally weak' people. the ones i meant are those who, along with finding a 'belonging' when joining a church become 'crusaders' and these are the people that give them a bad name. because they now see themselves as 'clean, good and true' they immediatley believe they have the moral high ground and can point the finger at anyone they deem immoral. Why dont i like religion? here is one example

Someone i knows wife joined a local christian church. but because her husband didn't go to church, and she did they began telling her that he is evil and that he would go to hell, whereas she wouldnt because she goes to her church.

how fucked up is that? at first he went fucking ballistic, but instead of getting violent or whatever he calmed down and went to church with her a few times. he is the kind of guy to ask all the questions that really cant be answered and i believe he made them so uncomfortable they werent too bothered when he stopped going.

Now about me. I was christened at a very young age as a member of the church of england - so I never had the choice, and as soon as I could stop going I did. I was also a cub and later a boy scout, and this also has a stong chrisitian influence.

I have no problem or hang-up with religion, quite simply I don't believe. What I do believe in however is that the principles set down by many religions are a form of controlling people (not in a bad sense) into living and creating sustainable and solid communities. So good on you, if you believe then thats great, but the second you tell me that I, or my loved one's is weaker/slower or that we are 'bad' and 'sinful' people for not going to church or whatever then u can bite my nutz.

A friend of mine was fostered by a local vicar here and once when I was there waiting for him I spoke to the vicar he said something along these lines 'its not about whether u believe or not, i don't believe everything taken as written, but what do believe in is the moral guidelines set down in the bible.'
