I don't think Kurupt has had ghostwriters

he freestyles alot of his lyrics
it all comes from when crooked says he ghostwrote for kurupt before

and when Same Day Different Shit came out it was all on Roscoes publishing

Crooked I is an idiot. If he ghostwrote for Kurupt during that "Tha Row" era then why did Kurupt still suck? That aint shiet to brag about.

And I think Kurupt used Roscoe's publishing company for the same reason he released the album under the name Young Gotti, he owes money to someone (possibly Suge).

the lyrics of all the tracks on this album are written by Kurupt.

he had to use his brother's publishing "Young Roscoe" it is believed due to contract reasons.

snoop has admitted it...and i believe game uses em too..his flow/delivery is somtimes different when he rhymes on certain peoples shit...just go listen to bone thugs ft game - the streets (i think thats what its called)...i wouldnt be surprised if 90% of ALL rappers use a ghostwriter at one point or another...

U are an Idiot, Thats the Skill that Game has, HE switches his flow...LOL, Who wrote for Game? He killed Streets on that track..Dont tell me Wish N Bone wrote that..

"And u know i am on the streets, i aint hard to reach, on some cool shit or some beef shit, i am on the streets"

Get the fuck outta here, Game will write for Bone thugs, he switches he flow coz he said, he aint like Banks, Allways the same voice and flow on everytrack, whether its Club, Street, RNB....

lol,i cannot belive people still saying Game dont write his own shit after numerous mioxtapes, Exclusive songs like California Soul, My love for you all them joints...

I don't think you get much bigger then Dre and Eazy using ghostwriters. Ice Cube pretty much summed up his thoughts on ghostwriters on Spittin Pollaseeds:

Fuck a ghost writer
Sittin in the back, of the studio
Tryin to write a nigga rap
It's the muppet show, most niggas need a&r(a&r)
To tell them how to fuck a hoe
Ice Cube, true mc, write everything I say, even back in the day
Imma spit it, how i feel it, fuck a gimmick
You can keep your catchy lines, imma 'bout to write a rhyme
If you got backpack, tryin act black
Think you know the culture, you'z a fuckin vulture
You never a approached the mic
You dress like a dike, sayin what you don't like
Who deserves five mics, who deserves two
But the nigga wit two still can serve you
This West Coast, flow is different in the East
But in ain't no different in the streets

I could swear that Hittman wrote Dre's shit on Just Dippin'.

Rumour was that Techniec (LBC Crew) was ghostwriting some of Game's mixtape diss tracks, like 240 bars a couple of years back. I'm 50:50 on whether that's true.

I agree with Cube, fuck a ghostwriter, like the other dude said, if an artist is just reciting what someone else wrote down on a piece of paper, he has no business being an mc. If snoop feels he can't write anything good anymore, he should retire and let the ghostwriters rap.

Did dre ever write anything?

Lol then u would notice a difference between Games disses after Techniec left, which you haven't. Maybe he came up with a few dope lines here and there but thats normal in a crew.

what are you trying to say with the quote, that you agree with him about ghostwriters, or that you thought it would be interesting to share Cube's thoughts?

I'm old school. I respect the things Eazy and Dre brought to the game. But as far as mcs, they do not score high for me. Especially when mcs play it off like they wrote the whole thing. To think Puff Daddy could not take the time to write a song about his best friend on Missing You and got ghostwriters is weak IMO. Now if you got someone to help you a bit, cool. I get the vibe at times that DOC and Snoop co write alot of material. That I don't have a problem with. But to just recite what someone else wrote, I can't get with that. MCing and ghostwriting don't go hand in hand to me. If it ever came out that KRS or Rakim had a ghostwriter for their favorite songs they would be considered frauds.

yeah D I'm old school too, thats one problem I have had with Snoop, its not just DOC but its Bad Azz, Technic, Kurupt, E-White, all who have wrote for him and I'm probably missing a few more. Thats why even though I'm a fan I can apprecitate Cube, Kurupt, Ras Kass more as MC's
