*The OFFICIAL 187Proof's Westcoast Scans Thread*
« on: March 21, 2008, 10:31:17 PM »
Bottom line:

I have a scanner.

I own a bunch of old Source/XXL/etc magainzes.

Figured I'd scan some pictures/articles/etc that I thought might be of topical interest here on a board representing on the west coast like we do.

I'm going to keep adding to it, but did 10 or so pictures right now to get it started off right.

They're scaled down a little, but if you save them you'll be able to read any text just fine.

I remember those Hoo-Bangin' ads in The Source. At the time (around 2001-2002 I think) they had those ads in every issue. Shit...compared to now, those were the good old times in terms of artists releasing stuff. Xzibit, Tha Eastsidaz, The Comrads, Mack 10, The Relativez and a bunch of other artists were dropping albums around that period.

Nowadays...who do we have? Snoop & Game. True, nowadays we get a lot of mixtapes and street albums, but it's not really the same in my opinion.

Oh well. Nice thread 187Proof! Keep it going...
