I Don't Think Dre Meant All Of That Stuff, And I Think It Really Hurt Eazy.  E Wouldn't Have Even Said Anything, If It Wouldn't Have Been For Dre, But At The Same Time, Dre Wouldn't Have Said Anything If Suge Wouldn't Have Been Egging Him On, Making The Pay/Heller/Eazy Thing Out To Be Worse Than It Was.

Hey, Yall DO Know Some SHIT Went Down When Eazy Signed Over Dre's Contract, Right? Like For Instance, Jerry Heller & Eazy's Mom Being Held Hostage By Suge's Boys?  Another Thing Is, Dre, Eazy, Cube, And Ren Were ALL Seen Hangin' Around Compton And L.A. Together In The Months That Followed N.W.A. Breaking Up, It's Common Knowledge.  They Even Wrote An Article In Playboy About It Once...

i got hella respect for dre these days, he may not be a gangsta but he;s no bitch. gettting shot and having your good friends die could really change someone.
Plus, how can some claim to be a gangsta when your what 35+ and have millions of dollars??????

I aint no "Punk Pussy"..... I'm just lettin you know my opinions on Dre.
And basically my opinions on Dre are.... I got alotta respect for him.... he makes tha tightest music... but i dont think he's hard at all, but like someone else on this board said "it sells"...... he wouldn't sell as many copies of 2001 if it weren't gangster..... I dont think Dr Dre is or ever was a hard headed muthafucker.... he's just about his business....... Peace Out 8)

Dre used to be a gangsta, seems by to me, but now, he's matured-He didn't have the thug mentality, but he was very much a gangbanger when he was in the WCWC.

Being a gangsta ain't about just kicking it on your block with some homies, protecting yours-It is, strictly speaking, getting money illegally, getting more territory, all that shit. Dre's done that, though his "getting more territory" was done fucking subtlely.

He's not a G no more, really. But he's not soft. The criminal record's nothing to be proud of-So, cause he smacked up Dee Barnes, he should be our hero? I respect him for the music he's given us, and the maturity he's shown since '96, but not for being a gangsta.

Some people should walk the walk, before they talk the talk, knawhaImean?

No, man, I wasn't hitting on you idolizing him. You were never speaking 'bout it in a "high and mighty" tone...I was pointing to a few people that it weren't all so good.

Dre's not soft, fo sho. But I don't think he any longer counts as some massive gangsta, but I think that point's been made.

LoL... see I still stand with what I've been sayin' frum tha begining... Dre is soft.... And it's not only his criminal record that proves that to me.... it's tha way he looks, acts, and talks on t.v.... I dont think DRE OR CUBE were ever really "hardcore" until they got with N.W.A.... but I still buy their shit.... not cuz they're gangster or hardcore but because that shit bumps!
