Don't Waste Time Hating on Kurupt just because he gets the Appreciation that you think YOUR favorite artist deserves. You should try being more Positive about Life and Post about things that YOU LIKE instead of Whining Like a BITCH. Convert All That Hate into Positive Energy to Promote YOUR # 1 Artist. Who has better voice? who gives a fucc about a man's voice yall kill me with this one

So if Crooked had Steve Urkel's voice you would still bump it?

My vote goes to Kurupt.  Crooked is a monster lyrically but I get bored with his music faster than Kurupts.  I think Kurupt has or had the overall package.  It's also tough to call because Crooked hasn't released an album.  This will be the test because these songs are supposed to be more structured as opposed to mixtapes where you can just do whatever you want.
yeah i would bump it,if the song is good, DID YOU EVER HEAR THE AUDIO TWO'S TOP BILLING? OR THE SECOND D.O.C. ALBUM? if the beat and lyrics match up and the song is good i could give a fucc how a muthafucca sound, hell if urkel was spit'n some ill shit over a ill beat i'd fucc with the song, fucc a man's voice, yell

Hard to say. Kurupt in his prime was untouchable to me. If you could take qualities from the east and west and make 1 rapper to me that rapper is Kurupt when he was at his apex. Kurupt now is still doper than alot of other artists but for now few can get with Crooked on the mic.

I agree, Kurupt in his prime was at top 10 MC, but not just based on skills, the work he put out during that period stands for itself.

I can see Box's point though. Alot of people do not like B-Real's voice and lyrically he is dope as fuck to me. I really try not to judge a mc too much on their voice. That was what God gave them to work with but yeah if they got some dope lyrics I tend to let it go. Now some voices I just can't get with and it's more the style and flow don't go well with the voice. Keak Da Sneak for me is a example of that. Some songs are dope to me from him, other time I feel like Chris Tucker in Rush Hour talking to Jackie Chan. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORDS THAT ARE COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH?  ???  :eh:  ;D

voice is important to me but in some cases it can be overlooked like the DOC's "Helter Skelter" for instance. If the beats and lyrics fit perfectly like BOX said then it can be very dope. There is also alot of MC's who do not have great voices, Eminem comes to mind. I'm not a big fan of Jayz but he too does not have a great voice and is considered one of the best

Between The Chronic and Streetz Iz a Mutha..., Kurupt was not to be fucked with!  But since then dude has been straight wack and i think only the hardcore die hard DPG fans will say otherwise.  However, even when Kurupt was at his peak i don't think he had a better flow or more versatile flow than Crooked I, Kurupt has never buss flows like Crooked's on 'Quit Snitchin', just look at Crooked I's week 52 flows, every beat he flows over differently, if you listen to any of Kurupt's albums throughout his career he raps the same. Back in the day i would say maybe Kurupt had better rhymes but i think each rapper at their peak Crooked I has a lot more to offer in terms of flow, rhymes and all round MC appeal.  Look at Crooked on C-Style Presents: 19th Street Compilation, dude murders the whole CD and even then Kurupt weren't seeing Crooked I on the mic, on 'Step Up' Crooked I comes the hardest, and on 'I Ain't Shit Without My Homeboyz' and even on 'Homie' Crooked I kills Kurupt!

fuck that, Crooked I wins this hands down and i am from the generation of The Chronic and Doggystyle, i was deep into Hip Hop when no one could fuck with Kurupt but the fact that no one wants to jump on the mic with Crooked says it all really!

Peace

Young Boss & Young Gotti collab now = greatest West collab in a while.
