Previewed some tracks, sounded good, especially that track with TQ. Is that Where I Wanna Be version really 10 minutes long or some typing mistake?

i got the original cd wouldn't mind knowing more precise details on the remastering for this release

i'm sure its high quality mp3 but i don't see how any compressed mp3 could ever sound much cleaner than a proper audio cd, unless the original release was that bad, but it sounds great to me. i'd be more interested in a physical copy that is not burnt from mp3s i guess.

There was a discussion about how I was able to acheive HD sound through mp3s, a mastering trick I learned from Quik.

The trick is just a special method of mastering specifically processed for the purpose of mp3 conversion..
only certain mastering engineers know how to perform this process which boasts HQ sound through an mp3 file..

There is an extended intro and no gunshot version of "John Doe"
the version of JD on "IIOG" is "DJ Quik's Pick".. the mix he favored (MCA didn't).
